Doing Hard Things With Friends: Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to read everything?
Read what you can. Come ready to share and listen.
Is this just for donors?
Not at all. This space is for anyone curious about global health, justice, and care.
Can I come to just one session?
We encourage regular attendance, but please drop in when you can — we know life is busy.
What if I don’t feel “smart enough” for this?
That’s not a thing here. There’s no test. And questions make great conversation starters.
Will sessions be recorded?
No. To protect participants’ privacy, we don’t record sessions but we will share a short summary and reflection prompts afterward.
Is there a cost?
Nope — it’s free. Just register, read, and show up ready for conversation.
Can I bring a friend?
Yes! Just make sure they register too so we can send them the reading.
What if I need accessibility support?
We want this space to work for everyone.
Here’s what we’ll have:
– Zoom captions enabled for all sessions
– Readings provided in PDFs when available
– In-person venues will be wheelchair accessible and transit-friendly
– Snacks will be available and labelled for dietary needs
Need something else? Let us know when you register or reach out directly, and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.
