Students Fundraise for PIH Canada!
Your Fundraiser May Be Someone’s Introduction to PIH
Most donors who give through a student’s page have never given to PIH before. When you fundraise, you might be someone’s introduction to PIH’s model of health equity in Malawi and to the idea that health care is a right, not a privilege.
This year, that means introducing them to APZU, PIH’s team in Malawi’s Neno district, and to a campaign funding a new maternity wing, so a mother no longer has to choose between distance and a safe delivery. A first gift from someone who’s never heard of PIH could help fund a piece of that wing before it’s even finished.
Make it count.
How to fundraise
Step 1:
Start a fundraiser
Create a fundraiser or join an existing one. It takes just a few seconds to get going. Give it a personal title and a line about why Malawi matters to you.
Step 2:
Share your link
Don’t just post the link. Say why. People increasingly trust a cause introduced by someone they know over a generic ask.
Step 3:
Track your progress
Keep track of your fundraiser’s progress and see who’s showing support through your dashboard.
