Getting Started Materials

  1. Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) 

    The MOU outlines the shared commitments and expectations between Partners In Health Canada (PIH Canada) and the affiliated Students for Partners In Health Canada (SPIHC) Chapter. The purpose of the agreement is to foster a collaborative, supportive, and values-driven partnership that advances advocacy, education, fundraising, community engagement, and global health solidarity.

2. Succession & Transition Planning: 

Every chapter needs to have a process for a smooth and successful transition from one academic year to another. Many elements go into planning this, a key part of which is each exec member/portfolio filling out a detailed transition report for the incoming person.

  • Transition Report Template (Make a copy to your Chapter’s Drive and use as needed)

4. Design Essentials Workshop:

Spreading awareness and event outreach is an important aspect of organizing work. The below workshop will cover design essentials so you can communicate your message effectively and ethically. SPIHC chapters also get access to our Canva Pro account, if you do not have that, please reach out to a PIH Canada representative to support you in getting that access!
