Six-month-old conjoined twin sisters successfully separated at University Hospital in Mirebalais, Haiti, are in stable condition after a collaborative surgery led by an international team of specialists.

Marie Myrka Amazan is the cross-site coordinator of continuing education for all nurses in the health clinics and hospitals supported by Zanmi Lasante in the Central Plateau and lower Artibonite regions of Haiti.
